Newsworthy for nothing other than being the very first photo taken with my new Canon 550D.

Oh, and the DOF. Oh, and the pretty colours. Oh, and the lovely sharp focal point in low light. I think I am going to enjoy light stalking with this plasticky little friend.

My brother’s band were recording the day I picked up my camera, so I moseyed over and took some photos and shot one of their tracks for a music clip – watch this space. You can also see a clip I filmed of a song called ‘Ghost of Her’ 3 weeks ago over at vimeo. Filmed with a Nikon D90, it’s terrible!
